Light Me Up!

February 16, 2017

Lighting can make or break a room.  I always struggle to pick the right fixtures, knowing how important it is.  I have a file on my computer full of images I keep as backup.  I was on the hunt for fun pendant lights recently and thought I would share some of my finds.  I love these silver globe pendants in three different shapes.  Would be so cute over a kitchen island.

David Weeks Studio "Kopra Cluster

David Weeks Studio “Kopra Cluster”

David Weeks is a fabulous designer and this fixture could be a focal point in any home.  How cool would it be in a moody powder room?

Fontana Arte "Albedo"

I love this light!  It would look fabulous in a bedroom, a master bathroom or an office.

Coco Flip black and wood pendant

This Coco Flip pendant is so simple, yet different.  I would love to see two of these hanging over a cozy seating area.

Lindsay Adelman "Astral Anges"

Lindsay Adelman “Astral Anges”

Lindsay Adelman is an industrial lighting designer in Manhattan.  Her pieces are gorgeous!  The price point is on the high side, but it is  a one of a kind piece that could be prominent in a dining room or living room.

Lindsay Adelman "Branching"

Marset "Diseno"

The Marset pendant would add whimsy to any room in the house!

Fontana Arte "Wig"

Another fun fixture.  Imagine two of these hanging over a big farm table at the beach.

Urban Electric Company "Jackson"

This celling mounted light by Urban Electric Company comes in a bunch of fun colors and could happily light your way down a hallway.

I love this crazy sconce and would like to see two of them on either side of my bed!  There are so many wonderful lighting options out there, so have fun with it.

I have loved design ever since I painted my bedroom walls high-gloss lime green in the fourth grade. A lifelong hobby, mixing low cost items with a few pricier pieces thrown in, has become The Wry Home. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t!
