My holiday table is always a last minute scramble. Â A mad search to find all of my stuff. Â Hidden somewhere (by me) in the back of a closet or in a bin in the basement.
I did a a tablescape for a fun local event with some great designers and am using the photos as inspiration for my holiday table this year….. but
where is all of my STUFF?
I agonized over my design for this event ~ digging around my house, stores and Pinterest for ideas.
Ultimately, I (sort of) pulled it together. Â Here are some of the beautiful tablescapes my fellow designers did.
 Â
 Â
Some of the tables were set for a meal, while others were based on creative concepts like Cocktails in the Library, Ski Holiday, or Christmas in Virginia.

Doesn’t this get you in the holiday mood?
I went with a red and white motif for my table of two.
 Â
I had a tablecloth and napkins made from a bright Duralee fabric. Â Two little myrtle topiaries were my touch of green.
 Â
Martinis and chocolate, just my type of dinner!
I found the little plaid plates and the dachshund salt & pepper shakers at Target.
Juliska dinner plates and my great-grandmothers silver.
Smith & Hawken shaved wood red tree in the middle of the table.
My favorite stemless crystal wine glasses.

It was a lot of fun designing for this event, but now I have to get my table set asap because ~ Christmas Eve!
Â
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ~ see you in 2019!
