Six Day Cowgirl

September 26, 2018

I swapped the muggy Northeast for the cool, crisp West last week.

New York to Billings, Montana.  Billings to Sheridan, Wyoming.

Visiting mom and her friends!  Such beautiful country.

Sheridan sits at the top of Wyoming with wide open vistas and killer sunsets.

Click on the video above to see the gorgeous horses we saw on our walk.

On the agenda: yoga, shopping, walks, dinners out, a side trip to Buffalo Wyoming and a fun PARTY.

We went to the Occidental Hotel, a landmark, in Buffalo Wyoming.

The Occidental was built in 1879 and is still alive and well!  Famous for live music with local talent.  We couldn’t stay, but it was going to be a busy night the day we were there.

It was hard to be inside with these views.  Long walks were at the top of my list.

The stunning Big Horn mountains are the backdrop in Sheridan.

Autumn colors were already on show in the West.

This trip was too short, but the perfect reboot before Fall!

I have loved design ever since I painted my bedroom walls high-gloss lime green in the fourth grade. A lifelong hobby, mixing low cost items with a few pricier pieces thrown in, has become The Wry Home. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t!
